Summara Health ("Summara") is an artificial intelligence–powered application that helps you understand medical information in plain English. It is operated by Thronos Holdings, LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Texas, USA.

Summara does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content and outputs of the Service, including summaries, translations, medication explanations, laboratory interpretations, and follow-up answers, are provided for educational and informational purposes only and are not a substitute for the professional judgment of a licensed physician, nurse, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare provider.

Always consult your care team

• Do not rely on Summara to make a treatment decision, start or stop a medication, delay care, or ignore a symptom.
• Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, medication, or test result.
• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in Summara.

Do not use Summara for urgent care.

Summara is not a medical device

Summara is not a medical device. The Service has not been evaluated or cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Medicines Agency, or any other regulator, and is not intended for the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of any disease.

Summara is not HIPAA-covered

Summara Health is a consumer wellness application. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity or Business Associate unless we have signed a Business Associate Agreement with you or your provider. Any content you submit to Summara is handled under our Privacy Policy — not under HIPAA — and you should not submit protected health information belonging to another person unless you are their legally authorized representative.

AI outputs can be wrong

Summara's summaries and answers are produced by large language models. These models can:

• Miss details in the text you paste
• Misinterpret abbreviations, dosages, or units
• Occasionally invent information that was not present in your input ("hallucinate")
• Reflect biases present in the data they were trained on

You should always verify anything material — medication dosages, diagnostic findings, next steps, follow-up dates — against the original source documents and with your care team. Summara displays clinical AI content with a reminder to consult your provider, but the ultimate responsibility for any decision remains yours and your provider's.

Personal responsibility

By using Summara you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will use the Service only for informational and organizational purposes
• You will not use the Service in place of professional medical advice
• You accept full responsibility for any actions you take based on the Service's output
• You will not use the Service in a life-threatening emergency

No physician–patient relationship

Use of the Service does not create a physician–patient, pharmacist–patient, nurse–patient, or any other clinician–patient relationship between you and Summara Health, Thronos Holdings, LLC, or any of our employees, officers, contractors, or licensors.
